Karen & Thomas, Wedding Skagen Kirke

We have the coldest winter for many years here in Denmark right now, last nigth we had ca: -18 degrees Celsius. It was not that cold last saturday but I believe that during the day we had temperatures around -6 to -10 Celsius.

I like the cold winter, we have had snow for about a month or so now. The light is beautiful this time of year when the snow stays for a while. Usually we have pretty gray, dark and boring winters here. So I’m glad for the snow and real winter, but I know that some are not so happy for it.

Anyway, I met with Thomas and Rasmus first on the wedding day. They had a laid back saturday and took things pretty cool until it was time to get ready for church.

There were more activity at Karen’s parents place where she had chosen to get ready.
Everybody was running around to get ready in time and there were people everywhere.

Lise from Saloon Fashion in Skagen was doing Karen’s hair and as usual, she did a great job.

The ceremony was held in Skagen kirke and the reception in Restaurant Messen in Skallerup Klitt.

Karen and Thomas had planned carefully and they had a super fun party, superb food and lots of great friends and family to join them partying on all night.

After 14 long hours I got in my car to drive home, I bet the party went on until early morning.

I had a blast and I must say it again I love my work.

Thank you Karen and Thomas for chosing me to be your wedding photographer.

Here are some of my favorites from the day and below are slideshow with more images for all of you hardcore wedding fans.
