Happy new year!

Did my last job for 2009 today, visited Emil and his family. Emil had his aunt and uncle over for a visit and for spending new years eve with them. I have followed Emil every month for almost a year now and it’s amazing to see the progress he has made.

I’m all about making a documentary of the childrens life, for them to see when they grow up so it’s important to tell their story and put my subjects in a context together with their family and not just shoot a studio portrait of the children I follow every month, so I follow them for an hour or two every time we meet. I never pose them, I just let them be themselves and play. That’s how the best images are captured.

So there are lots of great images to choose from when the time comes to design their album.

Here are some of my favourites from the day.

I wish you all a Happy new year.
