Such a wonderful day!
A very hot day, blue sky and the sun shining down on us all day, I just love it when the sun shines, makes me so happy. So a wonderful day like that and on top of it all I’m getting to spend it together with a beautiful couple and their friends and family, I just love my work!
Kasper showed true fighting spirit, three weeks ago he sustained a bad leg injury playing soccer and had to jump around on cruches for most of the wedding day. But inside the church during the ceremony he ditched them and also while we were shooting the portraits. Though it must have hurt badly he showed no sign of pain. He’s a true Viking..!
Gitte was stunningly beautiful in her wedding dress from Pronovias bought at Skott i Rold
Kasper’s suite was tailormade by Kejserens Klæder
Gittes’ ring is from Visholm in Hjørring
Kasper’s ring is bought together with the engagement ring at Yoko Jewelry Co.Ltd. in Hong Kong
Every wedding is different and equally interesting, there is just so much going on all the time. I really enjoy myself capturing images of the couple and their guests, to build the story of the wedding day. Gitte and Kasper’s day was carefully planned and everything happened when it should.
My day together with Gitte and Kasper began at the hairdresser “hos Inger” in Løkken where Gitte had her hair made, after that I drove almost all over the northern parts of Jylland to capture their day. Almost a month before the wedding Gitte and Kasper was contacted by the first venue they had contacted and booked their date with, the venue told them that they had double booked their day and therefore they had to choose a different venue in another part of northern Jylland. The reception was finally held at Sæbygård Castle.
Thank you Gitte and Kasper for choosing me to be your wedding photographer, and also a big thank you to Jane and Peter for recommending me to Gitte and Kasper.
At the end of this post is a slideshow and here are some of my favourite shots from the day:
